I use this flour in my flatbread doughs along with KA All purpose or Sir Lancelot flours. Durum gives it a unique flavor you won't get out of a supermarket flatbread.

Used it to make semolina bread and it was a very good taste.Cannot find in local stores. The only KA flour is all purpose, bread, medium rye and white rye in the Kroger stores. And that has not always been the case , so would buy when travel to larger stores.

This is not a review, but a question. I've been baking pizza crust and semolina sourdough bread with semolina flour and love the results, even though my recipe calls for durum flour. How will my dough be different with durum flour?

I bake bread 1 to 2 times/week. The K A Durum flour is of my favorite King Arthur flours!! (I use them all exclusively) I add 6 to 8 Oz. of the durum flour to every 3# batch of bread I bake, regardless of whatever combination of flours I am using that day. It adds a special soft, mellow flavor and texture.

I use this flour in a recipe for Sicilian No-Knead Bread that I found on a website called Breadtopia. The recipe specifically calls for Durum flour which, as many of your readers have discovered, is very difficult to find. The flour is fairly expensive and the shipping charge hurts, but when my Sicilian bread comes out of my oven, it's worth every penny I paid to get your wonderful Durum flour. Thanks for keeping it available.

I use this for making fresh pasta. I love it. This is not semolina, it has the feel of flour. I also use durum flour 50/50 with white flour for making pizza crust. It really gives the crust a great texture. Durum Flour will be a staple in my pantry from now on.
