made a great caraway stye bread very light inside with a med. hard crust on the outside. great flavor

I love this flour! In addition to making rye bread, I've substituted first clear flour for bread flour in several "regular bread" recipes. It works great and I love the extra texture that it brings. The flavor difference is subtle.

If you try, as I do, to replicate the classic flavor, texture and crust of New York Jewish Rye Bread you have to use First Clear Flour.

This is wonderful to feed sourdough and I also use it mixed with other flours, it just gives my bread an awesome texture and flavor.
