Soak over night, rinse well then cook 'til tender. This is great as a breakfast food with yogurt and fresh fruit. Use as suggested as a pilaf. It is a wonderfully nutty and chewy grain. It really is so good. Had it as a kid and love it still.

I grind my own flour in a vitamix and make whole wheat bread from it. No sprouting. The bread is delicious & hearty. I love the flavor & taste. I like the bags the berries come in. I can easily freeze the remaining product with no worries.

This is my absolute favorite! The recipe on the bag makes the most amazing whole wheat bread. It's astonishing with honey and butter and makes a whopping PB&J. My kids love to watch it sprout and then make the bread... it's got a fresh flavor. Also good unsprouted, but why would you?

We greatly enjoy these red wheat berries made in a pressure cooker with various veggies in a pilaf style. For bread we sprout the wheat berries (yes, it does take some days and attention) and use them (as is or after grinding) in whole grain breads. Delicious, very healthy and always impresses our guests and friends!
