Always a good breakfast and a great source of fiber. I add raisins, dried cranberries and slivered almonds. Then top it off with some 1/2 and 1/2 or soy milk and sweeten with maple syrup, brown sugar, honey or a little molasses.

I never could get the hang of making steel-cut oats until I tried these. They taste great, are much easier to make than you think (just takes a little planning) and definitely worth the effort. And ordering on the King Arthur website is easier than going to the grocery store! Hooray!

Wonderfully delicious with dried cranberries. I cook enough for 4 days at a time and simply warm for a fast meal. I sweeten with brown sugar.
