I have one for flour and one for sugar. Being able to buy in bulk and have good containers to store in is key. I've had both for several years and are still in great condition. I also have the medium and small ones, and they are the same great quality.

I needed a large container for storing flour and searched both the stores here and the internet shopping sites. I found this one and though I thought it a bit pricey I bought it. I am well pleased with it. The quality and design make it superior to the others I had looked at. I plan to purchase another to store 25 lbs of sugar. I have found that you get what you pay for and this is definitely worth the price...

I actually don't own this container - yet! but I do have the small and medium versions and use them constantly! Very happy with quality. I would like to know the storage capacity in quarts, please, if possible. That would help me compare to some sizes I have (I'm a "visual" person!) and what I can actually fit into them! Thank you~

This item is drastically overpriced. Comparable containers sell for less than half the price at restaurant supply stores and websites. (22 qt polyethylene container)

I bought this to store my flour in. I had looked at other kinds, but what made me choose the KAF bucket was the thickness of the bucket (It's not thin plastic) and the handles. The handles make moving it easier than a bucket with a wire bail. The weight is distributed better. Thanks KAF!

This is perfect to store flour, and dog food! We are able to put 30lbs of flour in one bucket. Keeps it sealed and fresh for months on end. We also use it to store 20lbs of Iams large breed dog food in the kitchen(no smell leaks out and the dogs don't bother with it). Love the fact that it is food saafe too. We just purchased a medium and small bucket as well to keep sugar and baking soda in. Thank you King Arthur Flour!

Exactly what I needed. I purchased two not knowing whether I would be happy with the quality, but I'm glad I did because it's just right. The lid is tight. It says it will hold 25 lbs. of flour, but I think you can get away with 30-35 lbs. You'll be happy with this one. The price is a bit steep, compared to a larger container which is available locally, but I like KAF; so I buy. I would get several more, but not for a while unless I happen upon a free shipping offer again.
