Mix was a dud. Yeast was likely too old. Initial fermentation was slow, but dough had risen enough for shaping and final fermentation. Dough simply didn't respond. Took a bite of one slice and tossed the product as inedible. Very disappointing. Use your own yeast as it was likely the instant yeast in the package mix that was old.

Best light rye bread I have had. Great for ham sandwiches. Always have to make 2 loafs when family gets together.

very easy to mix. Tastes great. Real flavor nd bottom crust. Mine didnt rise as much as I expected, but I made a free form loaf. I have always been afraid of rye, having some sticky experiences. I found it harder to shape than a white bread, but that is to be expected. Delicious flavor with a roasted chicken.
