No more scraped knuckles and dessicated, rind-less limes!

Lime oil is a remarkably intense essence squeezed from the rind of fresh limes; there's no oil added, just all-natural fruit flavor.

  • Use as you would fresh rind to flavor muffins, breads, pastries and pies.
  • 1/4 teaspoon is the approximate equivalent of 1 tablespoon grated rind.
  • Refrigerate after opening.
  • 1-ounce bottle (about 25 uses).
  • Gluten free.

Used in lime sugar cookies at Christmas- delicious addition to lime juice and zest.

I decided to try this product because I had seen a recipe for Key Lime Pound Cake that called for Lime Zest. I don't use limes very quickly, so buying one just for zest didn't make sense. I subbed the lime oil (1/2 tsp. for 1 TBSP Lime Zest) and the flavor was perfect. I like this so much, I also sub it in oriental dishes that use just a hint of lime. Love it, and plan to try the other citrus oils as well.

My daughter requested a Key Lime Cake with Coconut Icing for her wedding cake. After trying several recipes we still thought the cake needed a bit more of a lime taste. The Lime Oil did the trick! I was very pleased that the entire cake was eaten at the reception.

This is highly potent oil so you need literally a drop. It is excellent in a Watermelon Mojito fruit dish I make which is cut up watermelon, blueberries, lemon, this lime oil, sugar, fresh mint finely chopped. This is very refreshing and delicious.

Works MUCH better than grated lime peel. Add it to everything that needs a little spark, instead of lemon--surprise!!

It creates a wonderful taste beyond comparison. It does not leave behind a funny oil taste like many substitutions.
