I did not find this to be that much better than your average vanilla extract. I guess I am missing something.

This adds a wonderfully rich vanilla flavor to everything from cake to oatmeal. I'm so glad I bought it to replace my own vanilla infusion.

Perfect for recipes that need a gentle vanilla flavor. The flavor is not an "in your face" strong vanilla. So, keep the cheap stuff in your pantry and use this for cheese cakes, lighter cookies and desserts.

I used to use a double vanilla from Watkins and got great results. Then I tried the Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Bourbon vanilla and have not gone back! I refer people to King Arthur all the time for this vanilla. If you notice, most of the chefs and cooks on TV - even the ones in England - use Nielsen-Massey vanilla.

Frankly, I was shocked that this came in a plastic bottle when it has such as premium price tag. Pure vanilla is getting to be the baker's gold ingredient (for reasons that are unclear to me) so you would think the manufacturers would put it in a suitable container. Let's face it, all vanillas are probably the same as long as you ensure it says "pure vanilla" and there are no fillers added.
