I do like this pan overall - cakes bake evenly in it and come out cleanly, and the presentation is lovely. However, it is really small. I would suggest buying two of them, to use a standard cake recipe, and freezing the second. It is perfect for a cake for 2-4 people.

I made a chocolate cake recipe in this pan and filled it with chocolate ganache. It was an easy and elegant dessert. I don't look for any particular recipe for the pan, I just use the ones I have and eyeball it as far as how full to fill it. Mostly there is very little batter left. A great product.

This pan is way too much fun for the sake of our waistlines! So many possibilities. Lemon meringue cake,-yum- banana cream cake, gingerbread cake filled with a sweet whipped cream, spiked with pumpkin pie spice to kick it up a notch or two, next time I think I'll try filling it with pumpkin mousse. The options are endless I love love love this pan. As empty nesters a regular filled cake pan is way too much but this is just tooo perfect. Thank You Again King Arthur for another great idea!

I thought this product was Perfect. Normally a 1 layered cake just looks small & incomplete which is why everyone likes to add 2 or more layers, but then you have to deal with a HUGE cake that could potentially go to waste. This pan allows you to make a Beautiful and Unique lookin' cake that's perfect for just a handful of people. On a further note, the box it comes in has two recipes on the BACK, but If it hadn't you could have simply found a recipe on this website (they have a few, lol) or just use an existing cake recipe and some imagination....I did. To review a product so poorly based on this is not fare to the other consumer. Remember, your buying Bakeware not a cookbook.

The website claims a recipe comes with this order- yet I never received one! Also, the catalog claims the buttermilk lemon cake fits well in these pans, yet the recipe in not on the website? Please post recipes sized for this pan so we can use it!
