I ordered both the 64 oz and the 32 oz and I don't care for either one, they do NOT have the 1/3 c. measurements. So to get that meaurement I need to use a different measuring cup. I have had them a month and have not used them.
We're sorry this didn't work out. Please call us at 800-827-6836 for a refund

Can't believe I took so long to order this. Only had it 1 week & I've already used it 3 times. Great item.

The size is perfect for the dough recipes I usually make (3-4 cups of flour, bread machine size). The bread machine is great as a warm, moist dough-riser for many recipes, but there are some doughs that are slack, or just not enthusiastic risers, so that it really helps to have this cup to measure their progress and direct the rise upward, not outward. Examples are rye, sourdoughs, baguette dough, and challah or other rich sweet doughs. When I did my first baguettes recently, following P.J.'s blog pictures, this was a great help. Just oil or spray your cup, because some of these doughs can be quite sticky.

I find this 8 cup measure handy and durable EXCEPT one big problem. Though it is "dishwasher safe" and I really have not had it that long, yet the blue and red volume markings are fading or completely gone in some spots. Since the markings are raised you can still see the markings given good light but it sure would be quicker to have the color.
Sorry this hasn't held up. We'd be happy to replace it. Simply call us at 800-827-6836.

I have another 8-cup acrylic measuring cup purchased elsewhere that isn't near as sturdy as this one is. Even my husband noticed the better quality of this one. And I like the fact that the measurements are marked in color which makes it so much easier to read!

This is great for one loaf of bread or a smaller recipe but beware of trying to use it for the Artisan in 5 breads because that is a larger quantity.

I'm not sure why I waited so long to order this, but it is fantastic! I used it just today to make artisan rolls and I love how you can see when your dough has doubled. Great product!

I saw PJ use this on Baker's Banter all the time, and added it to my last KAF order. So happy I did! I use it for sandwich bread and pizza dough, and it's also a really great liquid measure.

As an insecure newbie baker, I love that I can watch the dough double using the measurements on the side. Also, I can see the structure of the dough developing. Very glad I bought this.
