I bought this to bake with but never got the chance. My dark-chocolate-lovin' husband found this 2 lb bar in the cupboard and claimed it for himself. He loves it and breaks off a piece to enjoy after dinner, says it's the best. I'm glad I bought it!

Excellent quality, much better than Merckens milk chocolate which is not "cocoa" flavored enough. The flavor of this bittersweet is more semi-sweet and not at "bitter" sweet. So if you are concerned about the flavor being to "bitter" don't, it is an excellent "semi-sweet" flavor. King Arthur's customer service is outstanding!!

Excellent chocolate. Not too bitter but still full-flavored. We are eating it as is. I can't imagine wanting to dilute it in any way, with anything. *laugh*

This is an excellent product! They are great for candy making, baking and just snacking on! My daughter and I use them for a lot of recipes.

My family only likes dark chocolate, and I thought I had tried them all. This is by far the best chocolate I've ever bought. Worth every penny. Works well in baking or just eating.
