This is good chocolate...REALLY good chocolate! I've never gotten around to baking with it because we just eat it. I think the best feature about these Merckens bars is the pre-scoring. The pieces break apart very easily ... which makes them great for snacking, and, I'm sure, would also make them great for recipes. And, by the way - even though we're always told to not store chocolate in the freezer, the fact is this chocolate freezes well, too, and then keeps indefinitely (or until it is all snacked away :)
