I ordered this chocolate to bake your milk chocolate cake. Of course I had to try it when I got it. Let's just say that was a mistake because the chocolate has all been eaten and still no cake. This stuff is really good!

This was the first time I had used Merckens Milk Chocolate Bar and it was a dream to use. Melted nice and smooth. Scored pieces makes it easy to use. Eats well right out of the package.

Lovely and creamy chocolate goodness. I used it in several recipes both melted and chopped. I will buy this again. The scored bars are easy for measuring when cooking by weight is called for.

The Merckens Milk Chocolate Bar was such a dream to work with as I melted it for my chocolate ganache. It melted smoother and faster than some chocolates I have previously used. The flavor was just wonderful with the Peanut Butter Mousse filling in my special cake with the Devil's Food and Angel Food layers. What a finished product! It would not have been nearly as good if I had not been able to purchase such fine ingredients from King Arthur to work with on my special baking projects. I will continue to purchase this item as it was such a wonderful product and was exactly the right size for the recipe I was using.
