I buy this again and again. The vanilla taste really comes through in baking, but is a richer and more fragrant vanilla than the regular Madagascar. If you consider the Madagascar vanilla a freshly squeezed, top-quality grape juice, then this Mexican vanilla is a full-bodied red wine. I don't even want to try Tahitian or any other; this one is perfect for me.

I love this stuff. I use it in all my chocolate baking and it's fabulous. It stands up for itself when using heavier flavored ingredients.

I truly believe that when you bake with exemplary ingredients (including love), your results will be excellent. I recently ordered the Artisans' Vanilla Package, and the Mexican Vanilla was included. I had never used Mexican vanilla before, but I have found that it is more fragrant, and interesting than the vanillas I used to use. I also would like to say something about the Customer Service people at KAF. When I received my order, for some reason, the Mexican Vanilla had opened in transit and leaked out. When I called to explain that the bottle was nearly empty, the customer service representative at KAF apologized for the problem and immediately offered to send another to take the place of the damaged item. Kudos, KAF for your excellent baking supplies and your exemplary customer service department.

I really didn't think this would make a difference, but it does! I've gone through the 4oz bottle in 3 months and ordered 2 8oz bottles last week.
