These cookies were a hit with everyone! The chocolate pieces stayed gooey on the inside, which was what really gave them the WOW. The only thing to be careful about is the baking time, as chocolate can burn. For me that meant shortening the baking time by a minute. I will be making these again.

HummHumm Good. Made these as a special treat for my dark chocolate loving husband, he loved them. Only thing I would do is make them a little smaller next time. Will be making them again.

Easy to make and absolutely delicious! What could be better? The many compliments from those who eat these when I take them to meetings. This is the mix to keep on hand for the last minute, what-do-I-take cookie.

Would only request one change: package the walnuts separately for those who have issues with nuts (albeit, allergy, digestive, or dental/braces issues). It would allow more people to be able to indulge in these AMAZINGLY good cookies! That can't be a bad thing, right?

KAF kindly sent a free box after my earlier comment stating that I'd received two bags of 'B' chocolate discs. We made a batch with the replacement mix and they turned out perfectly - just as pictured on the box and very delicious. Our boys took some to share with the audience at a talk they gave and the cookies were a big hit!

5* for taste
3* for the mix
I just made these cookies. The taste is awesome, but mine do not look at all like the photo on the box or website. There were two bags of 'Bag B' chocolates in my mix, rather than a 'Bag A' and a 'Bag B'. I followed the recipe exactly using one of the two 'bag b' chocolate disks. Because the 'dough' was so runny, I used less than the amount called for per cookie. I let them rest before baking but they still spread to about 5" across.
Perhaps the type or weight of chocolate disks are different and maybe that's why the result was more of a brownie than a cookie.
I would love to try them again, but at the price am hesitant in case I get two of the same type of bag of disks next time.

My husband just told me to order FIVE more boxes of these cookies. I agree with previous reviewers, the cookies are best made 1/2 the size called for. I'd like to know what kinds of chocolate were used?
