I just used it this morning for crepe batter. I usually use a plastic 1/4 cup measuring cup which is kind of messy. But with the muffin scoop it was an ease and the amount was exactly right. I will also be using this for cupcake batter and jumbo (bake sale) cookies.

I LOVE this scoop! I baked muffins for our faculty every Friday. I used to use the "heaping tablespoon" method, but muffins always varied in size and it was a mess sliding the dough off the spoon--lot of finger licking! With this scoop, filling the tins is a BREEZE--and the size is uniform for even baking. My fiancee bought me this one and the other two sizes for Xmas a couple years ago. I never thought I'd use the other two, but they're equally great. All are high quality, with smooth working gears. Highly recommended!
