I LOVE this pan! Very easy to use & the bread comes out GREAT! My children can't eat their sandwiches however, because their classmates beg them for their bread (TRUE story!)! Recipe is also SUPER easy & excellent! Just ordered second pan so I can have enough bread for the week! Thanks KA!

So I finally ordered this pan when it was on sale and I am so glad that I did! I am in love! Thanks to KA I have had great recipes to work with but now my bread looks great too. This is especially helpful for picky children who do not like the rounded crust on standard bread. Now my kids don't even think there is a crust. I am looking forward to trying out some other breads in this pan.

Can I make your pound cakes in this too?
Yes, the pain de mie pan will make a nice square pound cake. Only one caution, don't use the lid! Irene at KAF

I love this pan, and use it frequently. It make lovely tight grain breads with nice straight sides that are easy to slice and use for samdwiches, toast, etc. The lid and pan are non-stick and I never had trouble getting them together or apart after baking. This is very similiar in construction ot the (also fabulous) quick bread pan, and could be used for that as well. It makes a nice long smallish quickbread that cooks a little faster and is a better size when sliced than a regular loaf pan.
