I just got my panini grill and it grilled a steak and veggies great. I do agree that the lock on the side is not the best in holding the grill tightly. It was pretty easy in cleaning up, but I wish the grill pans / plates would come off for easy cleaning. It would be nice to be able to reverse the grills to a 'flat' side if needed. Just a suggestion for the experts at Krups. I will continue using it as overall, I thought it was a very good product especially with free shipping. Thanks KAF.

The lock to hold the press together for upright storage is not very well designed and does NOT securely hold the unit together.

This grill made my Christmas very merry! With a houseful of company, lunch was enjoyed and appreciated by all. Who doesn't like panini? Fool proof!
