Compared to other parchment paper, I was pleased with how it tore off easily from the roll....other brands, I can never get a straight cut off. The box was not as sturdy as I had hoped..but still better compared to other brands I have used.

I am so disappointed! I have a few boxes of Reynolds Parchment paper, that I had not used for years. thick, easy to use, has been very good in making anything, especially sticky doughs like Cloud Cookies. I opened this parchment to use as a liner between my pie crust and the rice I poured in to act as a pie weight. I was surprised at the lightness and transparency of the paper. I saw whatever is used to coat the paper and wondered if it melted. It wasn't a high heat, and I thought it looked perfect, no browning of the paper. Well, as I carefully removed the paper with the rice, the pastry bottom came off with the paper! I had used as little rice as I could, so it wasn't heavy at all, I checked the edges during baking, so they didn't stick. But the baked crust was ruined as the bottom layers of flaky crust came off with the parchment, leaving holes in the bottom of the crust. I was going to put two pie crusts in, but i am glad i waited to see how one would do. I bought two boxes of this stuff. Was it wrong to use it as a pastry liner for the rice? I have done similar before and have not had a problem. I am sorry to hear this did not work out for you. If you give us a call, we would be happy to refund you for the item. Please also ask to speak to a baker and we would be happy to discuss the outcome with you further.

I wish I had known how wonderful the parchment paper is. This is a very useful kitchen product. I have been using it when making my homemade breads - no more messy pans. I can enjoy my latest baking creation instead of having to clean the pans. I would highly recommend it to anyone who bakes.

i've read the comments about good at high temperature, including 500 degrees. My experience hasn't been as good. I use it for baking artisan bread, usually at 475. Paper often will smoke and also turns very brittle at this high temp and flaking can make a mess. Ive not had same problem with the Reynolds parchment which i find holds up better to these high temps. However, Im a big fan of KAF products and this would be fine for normal (lower) baking termperatures or perhaps shorter baking times.

It made my baking much faster and each cookie came on perfect. Oh clean-up was so much easier too.

I love the ease of use of the cut sheets It is wonderful to have for a baker. It is specially practical for a person who often bake breads and crackers using a baking stone. Even more useful when you use a metal peel as you can let the shaped bread rise on the parchment paper sitting on the kitchen counter. When it is time to bake you just push the peel under the parchment and lift the bread. Baking bread will much harder without it!

I absolutely love this stuff. I regularly use it at 500F with no problem. I can't think of anything I bake where this parchment isn't involved. I've tried other, more common brands they work, but don't hold up as well to high temperatures for some reason.

Who bakes without this anymore? I haven't oiled or coated a pan in 15 years or more, thanks to parchment. No oil, no added fats, and everything comes right off of this stuff (even baked fish). Amazing stuff, won't go without it.
