I purchased a pie crust bag 18 years ago at a specialty baking store and absolutely wore it out! Couldn't find a replacement for years and struggled with homemade crusts. Found these several years ago and have been back in business since. My pie crusts come out perfect every time. I don't have any problems with dough sticking, and clean up is not a problem at all. If you're tired of uneven, too thin/too thick crusts, or having difficulty transferring your crusts to your pie plate you need this product! It's worth every dime!!

I bought my first bag about a decade ago from one of those catalogs that sold a little bit of everything. It's wearing out and I am desperate to get another. Two more in fact! I have never had problems getting my crusts out. I use the minimum amt of water and barely work it in and my crusts are always flaky. Cleaning it is not a problem also, since I have never had a dishwasher. It's well worth hand washing it!

this pastry bag has changed my life. I used to avoid making pies as I could never manage the crust. People who complain about the product must not be using it correctly. I love it and have ordered it for other family members who have ssn me use it in action.

I used this product the first time this morning. I still had a flour mess to clean up. The first crust stuck to the bag so I used more flour in the bag the second time. The top crust was easier to put on the pie when I rolled the crust onto my rolling pin. Cleaning the bag? Haven't figured that one out yet. Seems messy.
Couple of tips: The pie dough should be chilled after making, as usual. Allow the dough to temper for 5-10 minutes before rolling. The bag may be cleaned with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. It is not dishwasher safe. Frank @ KAF.

I bought this back when KAF first started carrying it. (I think it was $5.95 then.) I only used it once or twice, as it was a nuisance to use and also to clean. I like to try new products, but I'm surprised KAF is still selling this thing.

This bag is wonderful. It allows you to roll out the dough easily so you don't overwork the dough. The crust comes out better because you are not changing the composition of the dough by adding flour when flouring your rolling pin and adding flour to the surface area underneath the dough. Finally, it's easy to store and can be cleaned fairly easily. To the reviewer above who said that the dough stuck to the bag and they couldn't get it out, I would comment that perhaps your dough was too wet and you added too much water. I use as little water as possible which really makes for a great crust. When I remove the crust from the bag I start by opening the zipper and peeling off one side, then laying the open side onto the pie pan and slowly peeling off the other side. If your dough is made properly you should not have problems getting it out of the bag.

This is a question, actually: how do you clean this item? It looks like bits of crust and flour would lodge in the edge and get icky.
Great question! The zipper nearly goes around the whole outside edge (save for about 3 inches) so it is easy to unzip the bag and wipe it clean. The same goes for getting the rolled dough out of the bag. Irene at KAF

I was skeptical but the reviews were so good, I had to gamble. Well, I was right. It was a nightmare trying to make a pie crust with this thing! The crust stuck to it and I couldn't get it off of the plastic. I ended up throwing the whole thing - bag and all - in the trash and starting again, the old fashioned way. I am sorry you had difficulty with this tool. We will gladly refund your purchase. Please call us. Frank @ KAF.

I got this as a gift from my neighbor and absolutely love it. No more anxiety about torn crust, it's easy to roll out and flip over the pie pan without sticking or tearing. My first bag lasted 4 years; I'm on bag #2 which is still great after 2 years. An excellent product.
