I had never even heard of a popover until I began my journey with the King Arthur Flour company. Every time I came on the website to explore the vast span of baking products I was always so tempted to purchase this set, but couldn't bring myself to spend the almost $50.00 it would cost to invest in it. Now that I have finally done so I can say it was well worth the purchase. The pan is absolutely essential and the dough whisk is a perfect companion. The mix produced these perfectly fluffy things, very similar to a yorkshire pudding but much breadier. Serve warm with butter and jam for a tasty treat!

I was going to buy just a popover pan, but the gift set was a better value. The mix is GREAT and the mixer is pretty cool.

I was only going to buy the popover pan but saw that this was a better deal. I have not used the mix yet but have made popovers in the pan. I was amazed the even I could make popovers so well. Great pan, I will certainly look at other pans when the need arises.

I received this kit for Christmas and have made popovers three times already. The Pan, the Whisk and Mix are great, buy the entire kit. They are quick to make and taste great. If you buy the mix it says you can make 12 popovers, do not fill the cup more than 1/3, even less, they grow into beautiful Popovers, they are fun to make. Looper

At first I was going to purchase the popover pan only, but for the price, this gift set was a much better deal. The popover mix is just fine, as is the popover pan, but may I just tell you about my love affair with the dough whisk? it is the most amazing tool--why did I not buy this years ago? I'd have HAPPILY paid the gift set price just for the whisk, it's that good.
