I got this to add to a cake I was making. I was glad that I tried it before adding it. I didn't really care too much for the lemon flavor it had. Now I have a bottle and I don't know what to do with it. I was really dissatisfied with it. Everything else that I have tried from KA I have been pleased with.

I'm on the fence with this product. I think the key is what another commentator said, to mix it with vanilla and maybe another flavoring. When I used it as the sole flavoring, my teenage son called me on it -- didn't like it, probably because it had too much of a lemon extract flavor. However I did use it (sparingly) in one butter cake which I thought was pretty good. Bottom line, I probably won't buy it again, but could see some people would love it. AND -- I read a KAF rep recommend keeping it in the fridge. Could you PLEASE be specific on the label regarding storage? Some of us don't or can't bake every week and rely on the shelf stability of our ingredients. Your feedback will be passed along for consideration. I really like this flavor! I do not suggest using it in all of your recipes that call for flavoring or extract as it can leave a lemony hint. I used some in oatmeal cookies and while they were good, I could taste the flavor blasting through. However, for my Vanilla Sugar Cookies it is PERFECT!

This flavor made my cake taste like my wedding cake. I can't describe the flavor, but it is softer than vanilla flavor and has a hint of fresh butter. The bottle is smaller in size. They should sell it in an 8 oz bottle. I had never heard of Princess flavor until I called King Arthur to make a purchase. I am so glad the sales person told me about this product. Everyone should use it.
