I'm confused. In one of the reviews of this almond extract the reviewer asks if this product is gluten free. You reply that it is not. Yet it is an ingredient given in a gluten free recipe (Almond Cloud Cookies). Please clarify. I want to order soon for Christmas baking, including for gluten free niece!
This item would not be suitable as we can no longer guarantee that it is gluten free, thanks for pointing out that it was called for in the recipe, we will change the ingredient to item number 2269 ALMOND, which is a gluten free certified almond extract.

This is a wonderful product. It beats all the other almond extracts on the market by a long shot. It is concentrated, so a little goes a long way. The flavor is superb, specially when combined with lemon and vanilla in a pound cake. KAF must not do away with this product.

I was SOLD from the moment I opened the bottle and was met with the most wonderful spicy, truly almond aroma. This was coupled with a superb flavor when I added it to my cookie recipe. Thanks, KAF!

Pure Almond Extract is beyond my expectations in an almond flavoring. Makes me wonder why I waited so long to try this one. Now I want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen baking so I can see how it improves all of my recipes calling for an almond extract. Well Done! King Arthur allows us to be the very best we can be in our kitchens. For my Christmas treat this year, I purchased many new flavored oils and extracts from King Arthur and look forward to seeing what each and every one will do to improve the taste and quality of my recipes.
