So glad the blue is a darker blue, as it matches my china and decor! Perfect for Kosher salt, which has a coarser grain! (my husband made holes larger for two salt shakers to accommodate the Kosher salt, but this cute little piggy looks nice to conveniently keep out on a counter (for baking, cooking, etc.)

I use this to measure table salt for recipes without yeast (for those I use KAF's bread salt). It's easy to insert the measuring spoon to get an accurate, fast read, without having to level the spoon. My husband uses it to give a quick "dusting" of salt when he cooks.

This is such a cute and handy little item; I love being able to grab just the bit of sea salt I need when cooking. However, the little ceramic spoon fell and broke and I couldn't find a replacement so I ended up finding a little wooden spoon to use. Be careful not to overfill because it will spill out, especially if you bump the spoon.

With the salt piglet, I can easily scoop up the amount of salt I need without wasting any like I used to when I poured salt into a measuring spoon. And the bonus? It's absolutely adorable!
