My baking became so much better when I started to weigh ingredients (especially flour) instead of using volume measurements. I have now recommended this product two times and will continue to endorse this scale.

I have had scale for years; works great every time. I just love the Tare weight feature. Use it for many other things besides baking or cooking. I would buy another one!!!!

My problem with this scale is that it doesn't measure in third of a pound increments. Of course it does measure in quarter and eights of pound which is fine 90% of the time.

Just got this the other day. Wanted to skip all the steps just to measure the correct amount of flour. Now I just scoop it onto the scale and I have it. Also used it for splitting up dough evenly. Haven't had it long enough to experience any battery trouble as previously reported. Very small item. I was expecting something bigger. Just an observation.

I have the Salter model 1006 and it just stopped working. After replacing the batteries, all I get in the window is the letter E.
What can I do to resolve the problem?

I bought this scale about One year ago. I love it! Easy functions. Perfect size, light weight, easy to store, removeable plate for clean up. The numbers are clear and simple to read.

I also have battery problems. Have had for three months and battery has died twice. I don't use it very often - guess I will have to take battery out after use.

I have had this scale (older model) and it is great. Use it all the time. I have placed it in a zip lock bag and that solves my problem of spills and dust from all ingredients. Change battery every year.
