Make Pain au chocolat. Due to the potential for melting in shipment during warmer months, deliveries of solid chocolate are at the buyers risk.

To prevent chocolate from melting during hot weather, we can wrap it with a cool pack and send it express shipping, separate from the rest of your order. You will be asked at check out for your chocolate shipping preference.

These sticks are the perfect chocolate for my pain au chocolat. They are the right size and are high quality chocolate for this French treat. Many of the sticks did not make it to my baking day, as they are delicious dipped in a steaming hot cup of coffee!

I thought these were REALLY sweet and not chocolately. Also my were a bit flowered. Usually see a darker chocolate in chocolate croissants etc.
These are simisweet chocolate-maybe you are remembering something dark chocolate? You may use some onyx wafer disk for the dark and less sweet flavor you are looking for. Joan D@bakershotline

I used these for the Bread Baking Babes Croissants. They were excellent, held their shape but got gooey and lent just the right taste to make me think I was biting into a pain au chocolat on the Left Bank.
