This is a great all purpose pan, I love mine - I have several. Here is one idea: I keep one on my counter where I keep my curling irons. I use it to hold the irons so the hot iron does not come in contact with the counter surface, dramatically reducing the possibility of fire and damage the curling irons can cause. I also used one just yesterday to hold thawing meat. These are great!
