I bought the 2.6 size from Siganture Secrets for years. Even ordering a case at a time to share with my friends. I too, was directed to KAF since they are now the distributors. Have purchased two 8oz. bags and it is outrageous to have to keep purchasing the small bags. With shipping, it is cost prohibitive. This product is beyond compare. I feel like I have been let down being unable to purchase the larger size.

For the first time since becomeing a KA fan and customer I feel like I've been conned. 8 oz bag only? Thats maximizing the bottom line without regard for your customers.
David - I am sorry you feel this is not a good value. We were selling a much larger quantity about a year ago (42 oz.) but unfortunately, is no longer available. Elisabeth @ KAF

Amazing! My lemon bars came out thick & sturdy, not runny at all. I can't wait to try it in Pecan pie. I'm so glad I took a chance & ordered this. My pantry will never be without it. Thanks for a great product

At the signature secrets website it directs one to a KAF page with the larger size (which is marked as unavailable.) So, it seems they want to sell it thru KAF. What's up?

Fabulous secret ingredient. KAF--you briefly offered this in a 32 ox. jug last year. When I got around to ordering it, you'd discontinued the 32 oz! I agree with all the others that once you discover all its uses, you want to purchase it in a larger quantity than a paltry little 8 oz package!
The large size was nice but unfortunately we are not able to offer it in that size any longer. Joan D@bakershotline

FIRST let me say that this product is just about nothing short of miraculous for fresh berries and drool worthy cobblers as it makes a jewel like sauce that will not turn watery as other thickeners do! ONce you use this for making homemade cornstarch deep dark chocolate pudding on your stove top you better not give any to the neighbors lest you are prepared to make another batch bcuz you will have NO PEACE! LOL. ITs that good! I have used this thickener for a long time now and don't want to be without it but it has become INCREASINGLY FRUSTRATING having this product only available in an 8oz size. If you are alone or just two adults MAYBE (prob not even then) 8oz. is adequate ! KAF please...my husband even commented that he was not happy with my buying a continual supply of "teeny bags" and that i was spending a fortune on my "little bags". it is indeed inconvenient and more expensive since it is by mail after all, having to continually buy it in the 8oz. size which goes very very quickly. PLEASE can you make a deal with the company and get us the 2 lb. size? I'm quite sure THERE ARE ENOUGH OF US HERE to make it worth your while as I see I am NOT the ONLY ONE HERE who is frustrated with this small size. PERHAPS- EVERYONE HERE WHO BUYs ONLINE COULD WRITE IN AND LET KAF KNOW WE WILL SUPPORT them and BUY IT IF THEY MAKE IT AVAILABLE? YES??? ANYONE ELSE AGREE??

For those looking for larger size packages of this product I found the Distributor list on the company website. They have restaurant and bakery suppliers with even 25 lb bags available. KA seems to be the only online reatail outlet but only has the 8 oz size. It's great stuff, but not in the 8 oz. size. I want to buy more, but at the 2.6 lb size. I wanted to give these as Christmas presents, but need the large size.
