Yes, it works very well for what it's called for in a receipe. I like it as it's not so super-sweet as Confectioners Sugar, it's more like the sugar used in true European baking. The flavor was not a critical issue as it's slight 'off flavor' described by others is overwhelmed by the flavor of the cookie itself.

Excellent, does precisely as described. Cookbook picture results on everything. It's most usual use is what I dip rolled cookies in to give them that crackle surface during baking. Also useful on Greek cookies, and even on really moist date nut cookies.

I use this all the time for my lemon cooler cookies. This topping is great in that it doesn't melt like regular powdered sugar. However, I agree with another reviewer that the flavor is a bit strange. To remedy that problem, I generally mix 2-3 parts powdered sugar with 1 part snow white topping sugar. This combination ensures great taste, and no melting/absorption problems.

This was a great addition to my holiday baking since I bake and give tons of things away for Christmas. My only dislike was the flavor wasn't quite the same as regular powered sugar but still great
