Old fashioned dinner rolls. Squishy white bread?? We prefer to think of these as soft, tender, buttery rolls. Shape them into knots, cloverleafs or just plain rounds; sprinkle with flour for snowflake rolls, or roll out and fill with cinnamon for cinnamon buns!

The product is fine, but the instructions are lacking details. The instructions do not tell you when to add the yeast! On one package I added it to the flour mixture not knowing what was expected and the rolls did not rise. One my second batch I went back to what I knew to do from baking bread and put it in my water, waited for it to get frothy and these rolls were better. NONE of my rolls (basing this on the second batch) looked like your picture,and I would not classify them as "soft". They were more of a rustic yeast roll.

I overdid it making Thanksgiving dinner this year and ended up extremely wiped out for days afterward. At Christmas I decided to be "smart". Instead of the I-always-make-homemade rolls for Christmas dinner, I reached for this roll mix which I'd been saving to try. Holy Smokes they turned out to be extremely good! Everybody was happy and I was a lot less tired at the end of Christmas day. Thanks KAF!

I always have such a baking list for the holidays. I usually make everything from scratch. My Auntie Rolls were always homemade. I thought I would try KAF brand for a short cut. I was really surprised. The taste were close to my Auntie!! And my family loves them. Soooooo, (whispering so the Angels don't hear me) I am going to keep on using my short cut!! Good Job! I have two places where I order my supplies from, King Arthur and the Spice house!

Sorry to say I was very disappointed. I love King Arthur products, however, the dough did not rise what so ever and the taste just wasn't there. I followed the directions to a tee. I am sorry this did not work out for you. If you give customer service a call at 800.827.6836, we would be happy to refund or exchange for another item.

Mom is putting the rolls in the oven now. A holiday is not real until we begin to smell the aroma of yeast rolls baking!

My grandmother always made homemade rolls for all family occasions from scratch. This is the first product that I have found that taste almost like hers. So easy to do. I made the rolls on Wed and put in the refrigerator after the first rising. On Thanksgiving I took them out, let them rise again and baked. Wonderful!

I used this by making the dough with our breadmaker and everything turned out great. They were very close to my Grandmother's home-made yeast rolls.

We look forward to holidays because mom will bake these rolls! My sister-in-law called from Virginia Beach two weeks before Thanksgiving to make sure we ordered the hot roll mix! We're lucky King Arthur carries the hot roll mix because mom was a working woman with three kids and she appreciated the boxed mix from the 1960's and she's not interested in making the rolls from scratch.
