I have used other Chukar cherry products and been happy with everyone. This is not you run of the mill pie filling. The flavor of the cherries is fresh and rich. There is enough syrup to make it wet without swimming in glop. Minimal and natural ingredients make this one worth every penny. Just what you want to make your pie shine.

Tasted great. It didn't fill my pie pan quite as full as I would like. The pie ended up looking a little sunken-in. But it tasted amazing. 150% better than anything in the grocery store.

I REALLY dislike the canned fruit fillings that you find in the grocery store but when I saw that your catalogue was offering this jar of sour cherry pie filling, I was intrigued. I followed the advice of some of the reviewers and added almond extract (about 3/4 tsp). The pie was absolutely delicious and oh so easy to put together. I agree that it's a bit pricey but fresh cherries are a very seasonal item and sometimes I just crave a good cherry pie. That is something you just don't get at most bakeries anymore, even in season! I will be keeping a couple of jars on hand.

I expected a sweet or tart variety of cherry. These seem to be cherries with lemon and lime added to make them sour. They aren't worth the price. They taste fine.

WOW. When it comes to fruit, I usually prefer to make my own rather than buy store-bought; but this cherry pie filling is where I draw the line. You simply can't do better than this!

These are truly the best canned cherries on the market. Delicious. Pricey, but makes the best pie and crepes ever if you can't find fresh cherries.
