This is the best form of vanilla I have ever used! I have long been a believer that your finished product is only as good as the quality of the ingredients you use. I love this stuff. It is a stapple in my baking. Try it, you'll never use anything else.

I was so excited to rcv and try this item ..i have purchased extracts and vanilla paste --all of which have been excellent--this --not so much--there were absolutely no specks--shook the bottle too--and tasted like straight alcohol--no vanilla flavor --i have been baking for years and have had all types of vanilla--did not like this --what a waste

Very flavorful! I'm now spoiled and cannot purchase "ordinary" vanilla. The crush imparts a wonderful scent and flavor. Lots of vanilla bean specks (which I love). A bit pricey, but worth the splurge if you love to bake.

This is a good vanilla but not a great vanilla for my tastes. I much prefer the Nielson Massey Madagascar vanilla. I use this when the vanilla is not the dominant flavor in the recipe. Different strokes, I suppose...

This is the only vanilla I use. I don't agree with the concern about the "flecks". If you have ever used a real vanilla bean (at about $7 a piece) you would know there aren't that many flecks from one bean. I love the flavor. I compared this product to many more expensive vanillas on the market and this one wins. I think plain Madagascar Vanilla by Nielsen-Massey pales by comparison. Try using a real vanilla bean and compare - this product has much more flavor.

I too was a little disappointed that I did not see any vanilla specs in mine either. I shook mine up and did not even see them on the lid. :(. It was a very good vanilla. I used it in my Vanilla Bean Cheesecake. It did not smell overly vanillaey either.
