I have long fancied the idea of using vanilla beans but could not justify their expense; enter Vanilla Bean Paste. This is terrific: I first used it in vanilla sugar cookies and this weekend in my newest culinary experiment ? ice cream. Relatively small amounts are required and the taste payoff is scrumptious. Great product; reasonable price (and the season is young for my frozen desert research!).

Love this product and it's a staple in my baking pantry. I add it to my Buttercream icings for both flavor and to make people think I went the extra mile. Whenever I am serving my famous cupcakes, people always ask about my buttercream icing.

I recently bought my 1st jar of the Vanilla Bean Paste , and after getting the 1st taste of it , my mind started working in overload Mode, All the wonderful things to use the Paste in ...So I settled on making Cinnamon Rolls with Vanilla Bean Paste in the dough , As well as making the Icing with the Vanilla Bean paste .... So very delightful !

Not only visually appealing but a rich, full vanilla flavor. I used it in a buttercream icing for a cake I posted on my blog and three people asked if that was real vanilla bean flecks in the icing. for a low resolution picture they still shone through, which let's you know that there are a lot of vanilla seeds in this paste.

Even with a small amount of addition, it gives my baked products a great vanilla flavor. I used it in my vanilla macarons and vanilla buttercream, and they were so delicious.
