This had a very good flavor to it. I think I may have whipped it too much, because it was too fluffy. It made a lot more than I thought it would. I made a double batch. I had enough to do a two layer cake and 24 cupcakes. I had enough to do another cake that I made a few days later. I will be getting this again.

This is the most requested frosting I have ever used. Not extremely sweet and beautifully fluffy. Absolutely love it!

Love the flavor of this buttercream. Homemade buttercream sometimes taste too sugary, but this was a great mix!

Why do you have to add vanilla to a mix for vanilla buttercream frosting. I can understand adding the water, butter, shortening, but vanilla? The only thing I didn't t have to add in this " mix" was confectioner's sugar. Six bucks for sugar is a bit much. Don' t buy this, just mix your own butter shortening, vanilla, confectioner's sugar, and water. You will get the same frosting and save yourself six rollers!
As shown on the nutritional information, there are other ingredients and flavorings int he frosting mix. The added vanilla or flavored oil called for on the packaging is just an added boost. ~Amy

I found this mix to be rather ordinary tasting. Add in the expensive ingredients and I'll make my own from now on. However, I do love the chocolate frosting mix.

I made it just like the directions and I loved it. It was not to sweet and was great on my cupcakes.
