If you are like we are, and got weary of our whipped cream always breaking down within hours of preparation, then definitely try this. What a surprising difference it made. The whipped cream was as fresh tasting and great a week later as it was the morning we whipped it. Its been decades since we have had this happen. There is no *back taste* from this stabilizer at all either.

Yes, there are ?cheaper? ways to stabilize your whipped cream; but for the average user, this is foolproof and ready whenever the whipped cream need arises. I have used it for 5 years and always have A+ results.

It works OK but its a little expensive. You get 4oz but you have to use 2 tablespoons for every cup of heavy cream. When all you need is one large marshmallow and a little cream melted for every 8 oz. Of heavy cream and dose the same thing. I am sorry this is not working out for you. If you give customer service a call at 800.827.6836, we would be happy to refund or exchange for another item.

This stabilizer permits fanciful pastry decorating or graceful aging of whipped cream. Very slight hint of powdery consistency but well worth the longevity it provides.

Before using King Arthur's Whipped Cream Stabilizer, within an hour the whipped cream would start to loose it's shape and go flat. Since using this product, the whipped cream will keep it's shape for up to two days...that's about the longest I have had any left over. It doesn't change the taste at all. This is a fantastic product!

I tried this with whipping cream and I also tried the clear jel with whipping cream. Both products were a disaster. I ended up using just plain heavy whipping cream which I always whip in an ultra cold metal bowl and wire whisk and it was great! I have been whipping cream for 51 years and I have never had a problem until trying these two products. First disappointing products from King Arthur, which I love. No more weeping whipped cream problems for me! I tested this product by addiing one teaspoon of the powder to a cup of cold whipped cream along with a Tbsp of granulated sugar. I did not notice any change in the taste of the whipped cream. Seven days later, the whipped cream shows no sign of weeping & still tasted great.
