I'm looking for a sugar to mix with cinnamon and put on top of bagels. I need something that won't melt, would this work in a 460 degree oven?
This sugar doesn't melt in the oven. mary@ KAF

I use this on muffins, scones, cookies--It adds a wonderful texture and just the right amount of sweet crunch to them.

At what temperature does this sugar melt? I want to use them on a dessert crust, but it will be baked in 400 degrees.
You will be fine baking this at 400 degrees. Joan @bakershotline

I am looking to purchase white "sanding sugar" for rolling old fashion cookies in. Your catalog was recommend to me by a sales clerk from William Sonoma. I have checked out your catalog and I am not sure which of the sugars comes closest to the sanding sugar that I wish to buy. Can you recommend one that would work?
Deeann, For this style fo cookie you will want item 1007, Fine Bright Sugar in white. Frank @ KAF.

I'm looking for pearl sugar to use in Gaufres de Liege (the real Belgian waffle). It is meant to melt and caramelize as the waffle is cooking. Do you know if this sugar is the same as pearl sugar. Thank you.
Sorry, this is not the sugar you are looking for. Try looking at item 1410, Swedish Pearl Sugar. It is probably much closer to what you need. MJR @ KAF

Is this the same thing as Item 1240 Sparkling Sugar that comes in a 1# bag? They have slightly different names so I am not sue if it is the same product or not. thanks
They are the same. 1240 is the better buy. Mary @ KAF

This gives my baking a beautiful, professional look and the added crunch is great on cookies, sweet rolls and muffins. I have been using it for years and this size is the best value.
