Hubby can't stop raving, whereas I do taste a slight "off-flavor" that others have mentioned. But, my only real complaint is that I wish the package came with directions for smaller recipes. I don't need to make the whole package every time and I have had quite a difficult time trying to figure out the correct ratio. Can you please give some guidance? This year I made my own and also used this mix. The mix tasted better. I was so sad about it really. It has such a good flavor. My neighbor who has a big sweet tooth said it made the cookies perfect.

This product worked perfectly. I mixed it up with butter and it was better than my best homemade frosting! I especially LOVED the frosting gift package with the sugars and my most favorite little spatula in the whole world!

It was so easy - to make, to use, and to decorate. I both painted on it, and put sprinkles on the frosting. I used natural colorings (I wish you carried them) as my grandson cannot have the artificial ones, and the color seemed to take well. I will use this again, although a smaller package would be useful!

Easy to use, beautiful glaze, fast set-up....but I agree with some others, taste seemed off to me, so I threw the remainder out. Wish I had seen the idea about mixing 1:1 with 10X, would have tried it. I am sorry this product did not work out for you. My daughter & I have been making cookies at Christmas for 15 years & have used this icing probably for the last 5 years or so. We love it because all you have to do is add water to it. We make several different colors by adding food coloring & decorate our sugar cookies. Everyone loves it & it's so easy to use & saves so much time. I have not noticed anything derogatory about the taste as some remarks indicate & would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a quick, easy topping for cookies. Will definitely be using it again and again -- great product!

I was disappointed to see that this contains artificial flavor. Maybe that's why several reviewers have commented that the taste is off. I assumed a company that champions home baking would be above using artificial ingredients in their products. Well you know what they say about assuming. I don't bake things at home to make stuff with fake ingredients though!
