What happened to your Italian Bread Improver? Are the ingredients of the Whole Grain variety similar to that of the old (and for me) favorite "Italian" version?
We haven't had the Italian Bread Improver in quite a while and, unfortunately, the Whole Grain Bread Improver is not the same. The Whole Grain Bread Improver is a blend of ingredients that make the bread rise higher and enhance the taste. Molly @ KAF

But what is it? I'm not comfortable putting mystery ingredients in my bread. Why the secrecy?
Just click on the nutritional info link on the item page. It will give you the full ingredient list. Frank @ KAF.

I gave this a 5 star rating even though I've never used it - I really have a question.
What exactly is "whole grain bread improver?"
Although I've baked breads through out my life, they have been simple ones without "unusual" ingredients like "bread improver" - or the malts, etc.
If I buy this, how willI use it in recipes that dont exactly tell me to add it?
Whole Grain Bread improver has several ingredients that help give heavy loaves a boost. There are directions on the package for how much to add to your recipes. Very easy to use product with super results.

This is the first time I used this product. My bread is much lighter, not so dense.

I use this in my white bread recipes also. It does help it to rise and have better texture. I just toss in a Tbl in the bread machine and it makes nice loaves. for whole grain loaves, I use 2 Tbl.
