This is my first time working with xanthan gum. I didn't sense any significant difference in texture between the g-f scones i made and those made with regular flour, so the x-g must have done its job. My niece and friend were very pleased with the scones.

I tried making biscuits and they didn't rise at all. The mixture was all doaey.

Please call us at 800-827-6836. This likely wasn't like a result of the Xanthan Gum.

I have not made any non-wheat baked good without it yet, but be careful when using this product. Do not use too much or add it too fast to liquids. It can gum up the works.
