I've owned this item since 2003. I love it! Its so easy to use, saves us a lot of money and my little boys enjoy eating yogurt without all the sugar in the store bought stuff. I use the yogurt as buttermilk and sour cream. And I use yogurt cheese instead of cream cheese in many recipes. I'm not into lots of specialized gadgets, but I wouldn't live without my yogurt maker!

I love this yogurt maker. I've used the powdered starter with it and powdered skim milk, the texture and quality are very similar to the Greek style yogurts. Excellent with fruit!

I have had this yogurt maker for years and it works like a charm however the container that holds the yogurt is made of thin plastic and cracked at the top third about 18months ago and I have not been able to get a replacement.
