This machine is amazing. I bake bread every other day. I've been looking for a small machine since I bake for just my husband and myself. It's Perfect. Also....the KAF bread mixes work beautifully. All you have to do is cut the ingredients in half! I was told the yeast packets contain 2-1/4 tsp. I measure out 1-1/8 tsp., I weigh the mix/flour and cut the weight in half. I cut the oil/butter in half too along with the water. The breads turn out perfectly! I can get two loaves from one mix. I place the remainder ingredients in the freezer for the next loaf and bring the ingredients to room temp for the next loaf. The recipes in the book that comes with the machine are also Wonderful! Don't hesitate to buy this little machine.

This is my second Zo mini, baking a fresh loaf of bread every other day. It makes excellent bread or dough. The small size allows me to store it in a cupboard when not in use. My first Zo would still be going strong at five years old if it had not been knocked off the edge of the counter.

Just got my Mini Zo about a week ago. Wow it makes such good bread. Much better than my old machine which I never really enjoyed so I wasn't too unhappy when it died. This one is so easy to use and I can't believe how quiet it is! And the bread was great. I can't wait to use it in our RV and let my sister in law see what good bread it makes. She will definetly want one.

I LOVE THIS MACHNE. I bought this because I wanted to add more whole grains to my diet, and I wanted to do so without the chemicals. I make about two loaves of bread a week, and I do a hybrid recipe with half dark wheat and half white wheat flour. It is yummy and amazing and my mission has been accomplished. This is am amazing appliance that everyone should have in their kitchen :)

I love my mini Zo! It is the perfect size for my bread-loving family of four. Kneads and bakes a beautiful loaf with lots of options to make it the way we like it! Fits nicely on the countertop of my small kitchen. Very easy to use.

Little Zo as it is so affectionately named is a perfect baker for a small loaf. The French bread is our favourite! However we have sucessfully baked most of the recipes in the bood which comes with ZO. our Strawberry season here in NC was short and sweet, as the hear & rain produced so much sugar in the fruit, local growers only had one harvest . This powerhouse baker produced a bushel of Strawberry Jam, so delicious my mouth is watering as I write this note. there is a bread/cake/jam selection. We Love it, and with King Arthur ingredients it's the very best $ has to offer. Speaking of which this price is $20.00 lower than i paid, So try to purchase it while on sale. It's compact shape looks darling on our counter as well. Happy Days to all!

I had a full size Zo for around 20 years that finally died. We are empty-nesters, so we thought we'd try the smaller version. We have two men working on a project at the house and they are loving the fresh bread daily. That is the best part of having a smaller breadmaker, the fresh bread everyday. I like that it will do larger amounts of flour if you want to make dough only, since I have to make larger recipes sometimes. I love that it has the jam and cake settings as before, and also makes pasta dough- I hadn't thought of that! I do like the rest period before mixing to let everything come to room temperature - then I don't have to fiddle with the lukewarm water and the room temperature eggs, butter - I can just dump it in and go. I like most of all that the bread comes out of the pan easily because it only has one paddle. I never baked in my old machine, only made dough, because it was such a bother trying to get the bread out. Thank you for offering this wonderful little machine. It's my little R2D2 on the counter.

We got our Zo about 2 weeks ago and I have made about 5 or 6 loaves so far! This machine is great for my husband and I, we live in an apartment and don't have a lot of counter space. I know some reviewers wish it had more programmable options, but I love the ease of putting in ingredients and just pressing two buttons and forgetting it. The whole wheat loaves rise higher than any of my "handmade" breads did. Just be aware that there are not many options if you like to customize the cycles for your bread, if you want that I would recommend the Bakery Supreme. My mother has it and she loves those options. I am working and in school so I want good fresh bread without a lot of hassle. Oh, and we like the size of loaf, it never has time to go bad, because we are able to eat the loaf without any getting thrown out.

For people who are trying to get their heads around the REST PERIOD it's to help get the yeast activated. And so as one reviewer helpfully suggested you can shave a few minutes off that what seems like wasted time and turn the machine on while you add the ingredients together then insert the pan. But I'm not sure why it bothers anyone exactly. Bread really good bread in it's own time....that's how I think about it.

I am not rating nor recommending this item, as I purchased this for specifically making gluten free breads. As a single person, I chose the mini breadmaker as I do not consume large quantities of bread. Unfortunately, this machine will not allow one to change the program and Zojirushi does not have customer support for making gluten free bread. This should be sold with a disclaimer that it is not best used for gluten free breads.
