Temperature

Fahrenheit to Centigrade

(°F - 32) x 0.555 = °C

32°F = 0°C
85°F = 29.42°C
180°F = 82.14°C
300°F = 148.74°C
325°F = 162.62°C
350°F = 176.49°C
375°F = 190.37°C
400°F = 204.24°C
425°F = 218.12°C

Centigrade to Fahrenheit

(°C x 1.8) + 32 = °F

0°C = 32°F
30°C = 86°F
80°C = 176°F
150°C = 302°F
160°C = 320°F
175°C = 347°F
190°C = 374°F
205°C = 401°F

Weight

Europeans, of course, enjoy the benefits of using grams, kilos, and liters. Writing, scaling, and interpreting formulas is always more cumbersome when using ounces, pounds, and quarts. Fortunately, more and more professional formulas are being written in metric. This means that a thorough knowledge of the metric system is important. Below is a list of the most common conversions.

U.S. Customary Units to Metric

ounces x 28.35 = grams
fluid ounces x 29.57 = milliliters
pounds x 0.454 = kilograms
quarts x 0.95 = liters
gallons x 3.79 = liter

Metric to U.S. U.S. Customary Units

grams x 0.035 = ounces
kilograms x 2.2 = pounds
liters x 1.06 = quarts
