We aim to reduce our environmental impact in every part of our business, including on the farm, where we have our most significant impact. We work with farmers to ensure our ingredients are responsibly grown and processed.


We are committed to significantly growing our line of organic products and ingredients. Organic farming practices can improve soil health, the quality of our water, and our environment. With organic farmland currently at 1% of all US farm acreage, we're working to support the growth and future of organic farms.


We're committed to non-GMO sourcing for all of our products, from flours to ingredients to mixes. Many of our products are certified non-GMO through the Non-GMO Project.


In partnership with a cooperative of farmers in Kansas, we offer flour milled from wheat that is grown with certified identity-preserved seeds, approved for ideal performance in the field and the kitchen. This means the wheat is traceable back to these farms, so you know exactly where your flour comes from. Our White Whole Wheat Flour is our first identity-preserved product launched in collaboration with this cooperative.


We work with suppliers who are committed to quality, ethical and fair labor practices, and environmental and social responsibility. All of our suppliers go through an extensive approval program with strict quality-assurance requirements and a Supplier Code of Conduct, which details our legal, social, and environmental standards and expectations.
