Tip: Relax!

After decades of baking, my #1 tip is simply this: have fun. After all, baking isn't a cutthroat competition; nor will the Baking Police show up at your door if you leave the nuts out of the brownies. Rather, baking is all about kicking back with family and friends — preferably over warm apple pie. In the end, time spent with flour, a mixing bowl, and a favorite recipe feeds both body and soul.
