Sugar Cookie Dessert Pizza

This is neither your ordinary pizza, nor your everyday sugar cookie. This is a giant vanilla-scented, buttery cookie, topped with a decadently rich, dark chocolate sauce and garnished with fresh summer berries. It's the reason why we say, "Yes, please" to pizza for dessert!

Sugar Cookie Pizza Crust
  1. Prepare our vanilla sugar cookie mix according to package instructions.
  2. Shape the dough into a disk, place it on a 14" pizza pan, and pat it to the edges of the pan.
  3. Bake the cookie pizza in a preheated 350° oven for 15 to 18 minutes, until golden on the surface and lightly browned around the edges.
  4. Remove the cookie from the oven, and allow it to cool completely on the pan.
Chocolate Sauce
  1. Place 1/2 cup heavy cream, 2 tablespoons corn syrup, a pinch of salt, and a heaping cup of dark chocolate in a small saucepan set over low heat; or put the ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave at low power.
  2. Heat, stirring often, until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth. Cool, stirring occasionally, for 10 to 15 minutes, so that the glaze thickens but is still pourable.
  3. Pour the glaze over the center of the pizza and spread it to the edge, leaving 1/2" to 3/4" of bare cookie along the edge.
Top The Pizza
  1. Scatter your choice of fresh berries over the chocolate pizza sauce, then allow the chocolate to set slightly.
  2. Cut the cookie pizza into wedges and serve.
