Instructions
  1. Add Greek yogurt: In place of the 1 cup milk, substitute 1/2 cup milk and 2/3 cup Greek yogurt.
  2. Dairy-free, egg-free: use oil instead of melted butter, use water or non-dairy milk in place of the milk, and use 1/4 cup flax meal and an addition 3/4 cup water to replace the 4 eggs. Blend together all the wet ingredients and allow to rest for 15 minutes. After the rest, add the mix and continue according to the box instructions.
  3. Reduced-Fat: substitute one 4 oz. container of applesauce (about 1/2 cup) for the butter/oil. Prepare and bake according to the box instructions.
  4. Alternative-fat: substitute melted coconut oil or olive oil in place of the vegetable oil. Prepare according to the box instructions. (Note: regular and not extra virgin olive oil is recommended for taste, although you will most likely still taste even the regular olive oil in the final baked loaf)
