Turkey, Avocado, and Strawberry Sandwiches Recipe

This is a sandwich best served on soft bread. We especially like it on slices of a whole-grain sandwich loaf, like Six-Grain Bread.

Choose your measure:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 8 slices sandwich bread, whole grain preferred
  • 1 cup thinly sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 pound thinly sliced turkey breast
  • 1 avocado, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 pint alfalfa sprouts


  1. Combine the mayonnaise and lemon juice.
  2. Spread each of the slices of bread with 1 tablespoon lemon mayonnaise.
  3. Top half the slices with the strawberries, turkey, avocado, and sprouts.
  4. Place the remaining slices on top, mayo side down.
  5. Cut the sandwiches on the diagonal, and serve.
  6. Yield: 4 sandwiches.
